Top Vlogging Road trip Essentials

If you follow our vlog, you know we go on a ton of road trips. We're basically filming every single day, so it's important for us to be able to charge all of our gear while en route to our next adventure. Regardless of if you're a blogger, vlogger, or photographer, this probably applies to you too! We're sharing our top road trip essentials for charging your camera gear on the go. Let's put that cigarette lighter to good use!

#1 4 Port USB Charger

First up is a multi port USB charger. I know you have more than one device that charges via USB. This is super handy since anything that charges via USB can be plugged in here, and you can do four at once! We use this for our phones, battery chargers, and GoPro. Find it here.

#2 Cables

You can't have a 4 port USB charger without cables! We have a variety of them including lightning and micro USB. Find them here.

#3 150W Power Inverter

So you have some batteries that don't charge via USB like your actual camera battery. Don't worry, you can pick up a 150W power inverter so you can charge those too! Find it here.

#4 Phantom 4 Drone Charger

If neither of those options work for your charging needs, you may need to find a specific specialty charger for your device. We needed one to charge our Phantom 4 drone battery and controller, so we picked up this one which you can find here.

#5 Back Uo Battery Pack

MAJOR KEY ALERT! Battery packs are a must if you are day tripping away from your car. These guys will charge an iPhone almost five times, and you can plug in two devices at once. It also has a built in flashlight just in case you get stuck in the woods (or if you are afraid of the dark). Charge them using your USB charger and stick it in your pack while adventuring.
