Greetings From Buffalo, New YorK

We made it to Buffalo, NY, our new home! Our two month limbo period is finally over and we are now (sort of) settling into our new apartment in Buffalo, NY.  If you missed how we ended up here, you can watch below!

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind! If you don't follow us on Instagram or YouTube I'll bring you up to speed. 

Chris and I took a house hunting trip to Buffalo; we were unsuccessful in finding a place. We packed up and moved from Vancouver, shipped our belongings to god knows where to be held while waiting for a new address. We spent two weeks in Edmonton, then headed to Toronto to speak about video at Blog Podium. We then went back to Buffalo to find a place and had no luck for the 2nd time. We spent one full month back in Newfoundland where we got married, packed our belongings (again), and waited for my Visa application to come through. Then, with eight bags in tow, we took our fourth and final flight, to Toronto where we picked up our car and successfully crossed the border into the USA. 

We will have more on our immigration story in an upcoming Vlog, but for now I wanted to give you guys a quick peek at our new place! Some of you have been asking which house we chose, but it turns out it wasn't ANY of the options we documented on the Vlog. We decided to rent for a year to get more familiar with the city. So that leaves us here, at our new rental which is 3x the space of our Vancouver place. The finishes aren't ideal (let's just say we aren't the biggest fans of beige carpet), but it's a big spot and we're looking forward to making it our own.
